Bangalee Group Calls Hartal in Bandarban on October 13
The group plans to protest decades of alleged discrimination faced by Bangalee communities across the three hill tract districts.
Chattogram Nagorik Parishad, representing Bangalee communities in the hill tracts, has announced a dawn-to-dusk hartal in Bandarban next Monday to protest decades of discrimination against Bangalees in the region.
The group’s Chairman, Kazi Md Mazibur Rahman, declared the programme at a press conference held at a residential hotel in the district on Thursday morning.
