Approximately 3,500 attendees from more than 100 countries are expected to participate in the National Prayer Breakfast.

The U.S. government has extended an invitation to BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and the party's Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir to attend the National Prayer Breakfast, hosted by the U.S. Congress on February 5-6.
Additionally, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee, has been invited to participate in the event, according to a statement issued by the BNP on Saturday.
The National Prayer Breakfast, held annually in Washington, D.C., typically welcomes around 3,500 guests, including international representatives from over 100 countries. The event features a series of meetings, along with luncheons and dinners for attendees.
Established by Abraham Vereide in 1953, the event takes place on the first Thursday of February and has been hosted at the Washington Hilton on Connecticut Avenue NW since at least the 1980s. It serves as a platform for political, social, and business leaders to come together in prayer and fellowship.
