Taxpayers are now able to file e-returns year-round, according to the NBR chairman

Md Abdur Rahman Khan, Chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR), announced that taxpayers will now be able to submit their income tax returns online year-round.
However, he noted that a 2 percent penalty will be applied for returns filed after January 31.
The NBR chairman made these remarks while speaking at an event celebrating International Customs Day on Sunday.
