The Russian Foreign Minister stated that the U.S. has expressed interest in lifting sanctions on Russia.
Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov indicated on Tuesday that the United States supported reducing sanctions on Moscow, which were imposed due to its actions in Ukraine, following high-level talks in Saudi Arabia.
Lavrov told reporters after discussions in Riyadh with senior U.S. officials that there was significant interest in removing unnecessary obstacles to the growth of mutually beneficial economic cooperation.
