Sports hubs will be developed in eight divisions with support from the United Arab Emirates

UAE to Fund Sports Hubs Across Eight Divisions
The Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced plans to establish sports hubs in all eight divisions of the country, with financial support from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain revealed the initiative on Sunday during a prize distribution ceremony at the National Stadium in Dhaka. The event was held as part of a friendly football tournament for underprivileged children, commemorating both National and International Sports Day.
“We initially explored the possibility with China, but eventually finalized the agreement with the UAE. We’re actively working on the project and hope to commence construction in the upcoming fiscal year,” said Asif.
He also mentioned ongoing efforts to reclaim government land in Dhaka’s Gulshan area, previously occupied by miscreants. “The National Sports Council (NSC) now has all the necessary documentation to reclaim the land and plans to build a federation office and sports facilities there,” he added.
Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Youth and Sports organized a vibrant rally in the capital to celebrate National and International Sports Day.
