Professor CR Abrar has been appointed as the Education Advisor.

Another member is set to join the advisory council of the interim government, with the swearing-in expected to take place tomorrow, Wednesday.  

According to government sources, Professor C.R. Abrar from Dhaka University's International Relations Department, also a human rights activist, will assume the role of Education Advisor.  

Government transport sources have indicated that the Cabinet Division has been instructed to arrange a vehicle for tomorrow. Currently, Professor Wahiduddin Mahmud serves as the Education and Planning Advisor.  

On February 25, Md. Nahid Islam resigned from his position as an advisor to the interim government. Subsequently, Mahfuz Alam was assigned the responsibility of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Now, the appointment of another new advisor has been confirmed.  

Following the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government amid student and public protests, an interim government was formed on August 8, with Dr. Muhammad Yunus as the Chief Advisor. Several rounds of new appointments have taken place, bringing the total number of government members, including the Chief Advisor, to 21.
