Prime Minister to visit China on Monday.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to depart for China on the night of 22 June for his first official visit to Beijing since assuming office as head of government.
During the five-day trip, Rahman, who also serves as chairman of the BNP, is expected to hold separate meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, and the Chairman of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
The Prime Minister will also attend a climate-focused conference and take part in an investment summit aimed at boosting economic collaboration between Bangladesh and China.
In addition, he is set to meet representatives of several leading Chinese multinational companies, including Chery, Honda, and Chinatex, to explore opportunities for trade and investment. Rahman is also expected to visit the Great Hall of the People, where he will meet senior Chinese officials before holding talks with President Xi Jinping the following day.
The visit is widely regarded as a significant move toward deepening bilateral relations and enhancing economic and political cooperation between Bangladesh and China.
