Operation Devil Hunt: 389 additional arrests made nationwide

According to police headquarters, joint forces have arrested 389 individuals across the country in the last 24 hours under Operation Devil Hunt as of Sunday afternoon.

This brings the total number of arrests under the operation to 4,790. Among them, 751 were detained in connection with various cases, the police stated.

During the operation, authorities also seized weapons, including a locally made pipe gun and an axe.

The nationwide security operation was launched by the government on February 8, reportedly to curb unrest and ensure public safety.
