Nahid Islam set to contest the Dhaka-11 constituency

The National Citizen Party (NCP) has released its first preliminary list of candidates for the upcoming 13th parliamentary elections.

Party chief Nahid Islam will contest the Dhaka-11 seat with the Shapla Kali symbol. The constituency covers the areas of Badda, Bhatara and Rampura.

The initial nominations were announced by the party’s Member Secretary, Akhtar Hossain, at a press conference held at the NCP’s temporary office in Bangla Motor, Dhaka, on Wednesday (10 December) at 11am.

Earlier, on 3 November, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) named MA Kaiyum as its preliminary candidate for the same constituency.
