JaPa Central Office Attacked, Vandalised, and Set on Fire Again

The Jatiya Party’s central office in Kakrail came under attack once again on Friday evening, when it was vandalised and set on fire.

Earlier in the day, leaders and activists of Gono Odhikara Parishad organised a solidarity rally in front of the National Museum at Shahbagh. After the programme, participants proceeded towards their central office in Paltan. During this time, the Jatiya Party office was targeted and torched.

The incident followed fresh demands from the group, which included the resignation of the Home Affairs Advisor and accountability of law enforcement agencies over the attack on Gono Odhikara Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur.
