Iran Urges Global Response to Israeli Aggression
Iran has called on the international community—including the United Nations and Islamic nations—to take swift and decisive action in response to what it described as blatant Israeli aggression against its sovereignty.
“We urge the international community—particularly the United Nations, Islamic countries, and all peace-loving nations—to respond promptly and effectively to this act of aggression, which poses a grave threat to international peace and security,” the Iranian Embassy in Dhaka said in a press release today.
The statement accused the “Zionist occupying regime” of Israel of launching a violent assault on Iranian territory, resulting in the deaths of senior military commanders, renowned scientists, and innocent women and children.
Tehran expressed deep sorrow over the “heinous crimes” and described the attack as a flagrant violation of Articles 2 and 4 of the UN Charter. It emphasized that the assault represents a direct breach of Iran’s national sovereignty and constitutes military aggression under international law.
Invoking Article 51 of the UN Charter, the statement asserted Iran’s legitimate right to self-defense and warned that it would respond accordingly.
“The full responsibility for the consequences of this aggression lies with the Zionist occupying regime,” the embassy’s statement concluded.
