Home Affairs Adviser has announced that over 80,000 army personnel will be deployed to maintain security during the election
The Chief Adviser has recently confirmed that the 13th national parliamentary election will take place before Ramadan.

Home Affairs Adviser Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has announced that over 80,000 army personnel will be deployed to ensure security during the upcoming national parliamentary elections.
He added that members of the police, RAB, BGB, and other law enforcement agencies will also be on duty.
Speaking to the media after inspecting the Tegharia High School polling center in the Dhaka-3 constituency, the Home Adviser said that unlike previous elections—where two Ansar members were stationed at each polling center—this time, an additional armed Ansar member will be deployed to safeguard the presiding officer.
He further remarked that responsible reporting by the Bangladeshi media has helped curb the spread of false propaganda originating from several neighboring countries.
Earlier, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus announced that the 13th national parliamentary election will be held before Ramadan in February next year.
