The government has approved a 10-day holiday to mark Eid-ul-Azha, one of the most significant festivals in Islam.

To manage the anticipated workload, government offices will remain open on Saturday, May 17, and Saturday, May 24, Alam added.
In a Facebook post, he wrote: “The Cabinet has approved the draft of the Cyber Shurokkha Ordinance 2025. As per the Cabinet's decision, there will be a 10-day Eid-ul-Azha holiday. Offices will be operational on May 17 and 24, which fall on Saturdays.”
