Elections to be determined by the July Charter, says CA’s Press Secretary.

Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary, Shafiqul Alam, stated on Saturday that the timing of the elections will depend on the July Charter.
He noted, “Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has already mentioned that elections might take place by December. If that happens, we will be able to implement several recommendations, while the political party that comes to power afterward will implement the remaining ones.”
Shafiqul Alam made these remarks while speaking to the media at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka around 2:45 pm, ahead of the dialogue between the Chief Adviser, National Consensus Commission chief Muhammad Yunus, and various political parties.
Explaining the July Charter, he said, “Dialogue will be held with political parties regarding the reports of six reform commissions. We expect all political parties to sign the decisions reached through consensus, which will form the basis of the July Charter.”
