BNP to observe black flag mourning, hold nationwide prayers Tuesday for Uttara jet crash victims

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will observe a day of mourning on Tuesday by hoisting black flags and holding prayer gatherings across the country in memory of the students who died in the Uttara plane crash at Milestone School.
The announcement was made in a press release signed by the party’s Senior Joint Secretary General, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
As per the release, black flags will be flown at all BNP offices nationwide, including the central office in Nayapaltan.
Prayer gatherings, including milad and doa mahfils, will be organised in Dhaka and across various districts to pray for the deceased and for the recovery of the injured.
The central programme will be held at 11:30 am at the BNP’s Nayapaltan headquarters, with senior leaders, including the party’s Secretary General, in attendance.
