The bank accounts of Inu, Nasim, and Biplob have been frozen.

The bank accounts of Hasanul Haq Inu, president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal; AFM Bahauddin Nasim, former Dhaka-8 MP; and Biplob Kumar Sarkar, former joint commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, have been frozen. 

In addition, the accounts of their wives, children, and any businesses in which they have personal ownership or interests have also been ordered to be suspended. The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) issued instructions on Monday to banks and financial institutions nationwide to freeze these accounts.

These accounts, including those of their family members and businesses, will remain frozen for the next 30 days, during which no transactions will be permitted. The freeze period may be extended if necessary.

The directive also required that all related documents, such as account opening forms, KYC information, and transaction records, be submitted to the BFIU within two working days of the notice.
