Film censor board will be reconstituted, say Advisor Nahid

According to ICT Advisor Md Nahid Islam, the censor board will be restructured and a certification board established under the Bangladesh Film Certification Bill. At a media briefing following a meeting with the newly elected committees of the Bangladesh Film Censor Board and jury board at the Secretariat, he stated, "The censor and jury boards were formed by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. We have discussed the censor board today." The Bangladesh Film Certification Bill was gazetted in 2023, but the accompanying rules have yet to be established.
