Aamir hints at the possibility of collaborating on a film with Shah Rukh and Salman, saying, "Hopefully, it will happen soon"

Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan— the leading trio of Bollywood— have been dominating the box office and influencing Hindi cinema for three decades. Although Salman has appeared on screen with both Aamir and Shah Rukh separately, the three Khans have never starred together in a film. With past conflicts, public disagreements, and tensions seemingly behind them, Aamir hinted at the exciting prospect of a collaboration involving this iconic trio. According to him, the 'great script' is the only missing piece.

In an interview with the Indian news agency ANI, Aamir shared that the idea of the three Khans working together on a project had been discussed, though the last conversation on the topic took place about six months ago. Known for his meticulous approach to filmmaking, Aamir said, “I was the one who brought this up and told Shah Rukh and Salman that it would be really sad if the three of us didn’t do a film together.”

He continued, “I think Salman and Shah Rukh were equally in agreement and said, ‘Yes, we must make a film together— all three of us.’ Hopefully, it will happen soon.” When asked about the obstacles to this dream collaboration, Aamir noted, “It will require the right kind of story. So, we’ll have to wait for the perfect script. We are all eagerly looking forward to it.” Last year, Shah Rukh and Salman appeared together in the blockbuster ‘Pathaan’. Although Aamir admitted he hasn’t watched the entire film, he revealed that the ‘train track scene’ featuring the duo left him in splits, as reported by the Hindustan Times.

“I found the scene really funny. I haven’t seen the film in its entirety, but I saw that scene. You get clips nowadays on Instagram and all that, so I ended up watching that scene— it’s quite funny,” Aamir said. 

“I think all the young actors must have felt really upset, but you can’t even get too upset with Shah Rukh and Salman. What can you say?”
