The parliament session will begin at 11am

The session of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (National Parliament) will resume on Sunday at 11:00am.

The new parliament began its journey last Thursday. After the President’s address that day, Speaker Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed adjourned the sitting until Sunday.

According to the day’s agenda released by the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat, the proceedings will feature question-and-answer sessions with several ministries, including the Cabinet Division, Ministry of Science and Technology, Secondary and Higher Education Division, Technical and Madrasa Education Division, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Ministry of Social Welfare, and the Ministry of Housing and Public Works.

The agenda also includes the disposal of notices submitted under Rule 71 for raising matters of urgent public importance, as well as the motion of thanks on the President’s address and discussions on the motion.

Meanwhile, the first session of the 13th National Parliament is scheduled to continue until April 30, according to a decision taken at the first meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of Parliament.
