The government has announced a call for nationwide prayers for Khaleda Zia to be held tomorrow

The interim government has urged the nation to offer special prayers for the speedy recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia — three-time former prime minister, wife of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, and BNP chairperson.

According to a statement from the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing issued this morning, mosques across the country have been requested to offer special dua after tomorrow’s Jummah prayers.

Temples, churches, pagodas, and other places of worship have also been asked to hold prayers in line with their respective religious traditions.

The government further called on people from all walks of life to pray from wherever they are for Begum Khaleda Zia’s early recovery.
