The election schedule will be announced tomorrow evening

The schedule for the upcoming 13th parliamentary elections will be announced at 6pm on Thursday.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin will reveal the election timetable in a televised address to the nation, EC Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed told reporters on Wednesday afternoon.

Earlier in the day, the Election Commission, led by the CEC, met President Mohammed Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban to discuss overall preparations and the timing of the schedule announcement for the national polls.
