The Chief Advisor has dispatched his law adviser and special assistant to check on Khaleda Zia’s health condition

Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Friday night dispatched Law Adviser Asif Nazrul and Special Assistant Monir Haider to Evercare Hospital in the capital to inquire about the health of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir met the two officials at the hospital on behalf of the party, BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed.

Khaleda remains under intensive care at Evercare Hospital, where she is being treated for critical health complications.

Earlier in the day, Prof Yunus urged the nation to pray for her swift recovery, according to a post on the chief adviser’s official Facebook page.

The post also noted that the chief adviser has been closely monitoring updates on Khaleda Zia’s condition and has directed the authorities concerned to ensure she receives all necessary medical support.
