The ACC has sought wealth statements from 17 officials of the NBR
He said the decision was made after the ACC received information that the officials had accumulated assets through dishonest means.

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has asked 17 officials of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) to submit their wealth statements over allegations of amassing illegal assets.
ACC Director General Akhtar Hossain made the disclosure at a press briefing held on Tuesday at the commission’s headquarters in Segunbagicha, Dhaka.
He said the move followed findings from an ACC investigation that revealed the officials had acquired assets through dishonest means.
