PM may reshuffle cabinet if ministers fail to meet expectations: Zahed

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman may reshuffle the current cabinet or bring in new members if he believes one or more ministers are underperforming, his Adviser Zahed-ur-Rahman said at a briefing at the Secretariat on Tuesday.

Zahed said his conversations with the Prime Minister had led him to believe that Tarique Rahman could take such steps if necessary.

The briefing was held at the Press Institute Department office at the Secretariat ahead of the government’s 180th day in office.
