Rosatom: Nuclear fuel delivery for Rooppur Unit-2 set to begin in October

The delivery of nuclear fuel for Unit-2 of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant is set to begin in October 2026, according to a statement received here today.

In a statement issued yesterday, Rosatom said the fuel shipments would continue through December, with all deliveries expected to be completed by the end of the month.

The Russian state nuclear corporation said the fuel would be transported by air in several consignments, in line with the terms of the contract and the project schedule.
