Oli Ahmed Says Yunus May Also Have to Flee Like Sheikh Hasina
He said he was making the prediction as nothing was under Yunus’s control.

Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) President Col (Retd) Oli Ahmed has said that Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus may also have to flee the country like former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus may also have to flee like Sheikh Hasina. I’m predicting this because nothing is under his control. In the civil administration, the armed forces, and the police—nothing is under control,” he said.
Oli Ahmed made the remarks in an interview with an online news portal, reports Kaler Kantho.
He said killings are occurring across the country, while people block roads and stage sit-ins at will, making demands and collecting payments. “It has become a complete mess. There is unrest in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, and the number of refugees is increasing day by day,” he added.
“You cannot run the country with speeches and smiles. Problems must be solved decisively. The government must work toward clear goals. Dr Yunus cannot do that because he has surrounded himself with people from NGOs and similar organisations—very few of whom have experience running ministries or serving as MPs,” Oli Ahmed said.
Responding to a question about the Awami League and Jatiya Party’s participation in elections, the LDP president said, “We have made our position clear—those who plundered the nation’s wealth or aided in it, and those who acted as agents of the Indian government, have no right to do politics in Bangladesh. They are killers and bloodsuckers of the people. Such bloodsuckers will not be allowed to do politics in Bangladesh.”
