Litton says the Netherlands series was “perfect in every way”

Bangladesh captain Litton Das expressed his satisfaction after sealing the three-match T20I series against the Netherlands, highlighting that the biggest gain was valuable game time for the players ahead of the Asia Cup.

“Overall, I think everything was positive,” Litton said following the series decider.

“Everyone who got a chance to play performed well. Only Saifuddin couldn’t contribute much. But the rest had the opportunity to feature in at least one game. Practice is important, but delivering in matches matters even more. Match experience sharpens you and improves your game sense.”

He also credited the pre-series training camp in Sylhet as a key factor, saying it prepared the team not only for this series but also for upcoming challenges.

“I believe we’re well prepared for the Asia Cup. From the start, I said the Sylhet camp wasn’t just for this series—it was to get us ready for what’s ahead. I’ve never seen such a productive camp. Fitness can be worked on in Mirpur, but the kind of practice we wanted was only possible in Sylhet. Overall, I feel this has been a very good journey for us,” Litton concluded.
