Health Adviser: Government dedicated to providing highest level of care for plane crash victims

Health Adviser Nurjahan Begum on Saturday reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to delivering the highest standard of medical care to those injured in the Milestone plane crash, assuring full support throughout their recovery.

She made the remarks during a visit to Dhaka’s Combined Military Hospital (CMH), where several victims of the crash— which took place at Milestone School and College in Uttara — are currently receiving treatment.

During the visit, the Health Adviser checked on each patient’s condition, held in-depth discussions with the attending medical teams, and reviewed the overall care being provided. Currently, eight injured individuals are undergoing treatment at CMH.

“The government is fully dedicated to ensuring the best possible treatment for the victims. The Ministry of Health will provide all necessary medical assistance,” Nurjahan Begum said.

She also praised the dedication of the doctors and healthcare staff involved in the care of the injured, thanking them for their efforts and wishing the patients a speedy and full recovery.
