Global Ministerial Conference: Bangladesh Walks Out During Israeli Speech

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has addressed the misinterpretation by certain groups regarding the immediate walkout of some delegates during the Israeli delegate's speech at the 4th Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety, held on 18 February 2025 in Marrakesh, Morocco. In a statement issued on Friday, the Ministry confirmed that the Bangladesh delegation was among those who walked out in protest. It reaffirmed Bangladesh's well-established stance in support of the Palestinian cause and its condemnation of Israeli actions, including genocide and other forms of repression against Palestinians. The Ministry also urged all concerned to avoid spreading misinformation about the incident.
