Dr. Yunus kicks off Davos activities with a meeting with the German Chancellor
The meeting occurred on the sidelines of the annual World Economic Forum (WEF).
Chief Adviser Prof. Muhammad Yunus commenced his extensive engagements on Tuesday by meeting German Chancellor Olaf Scholz shortly after traveling by road from Zurich International Airport to Zurich.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the annual World Economic Forum (WEF), centered on matters of mutual interest. Dr. Yunus arrived at Zurich International Airport, Switzerland, in the afternoon to participate in the WEF in Davos, where he is set to engage with global leaders on critical issues, alongside scheduled bilateral meetings.
Upon his arrival at the airport, Ambassador Tareq Md Ariful Islam, Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the UN in Geneva, warmly received the chief adviser. Dr. Yunus and his delegation landed at Zurich International Airport at 12:27 PM (local time) aboard an Emirates flight.
On his first day, Dr. Yunus is scheduled to attend several engagements, including the opening dinner at Kurpark Village.
