Dhaka and Islamabad voice concern over the ongoing crisis in Palestine

Bangladesh and Pakistan have voiced deep concern over the ongoing Israeli aggression and the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Palestine, reaffirming their steadfast support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate cause.
This shared stance emerged during a meeting between Bangladesh’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held on the sidelines of the United Nations’ International Conference on the Two-State Solution.
Both leaders expressed optimism for meaningful outcomes from the conference.
They also reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and reiterated their commitment to strengthening cooperation in political, economic, and cultural spheres. Additionally, they discussed enhancing connectivity and fostering greater people-to-people ties, according to a statement from the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka.
The two sides agreed to facilitate high-level exchanges in the near future.
