Dhaka and Islamabad foreign affairs chiefs hold phone talks
Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation on Sunday, during which they discussed issues of mutual interest.
According to officials, the two leaders reviewed the state of Bangladesh–Pakistan relations and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation across a range of sectors.
They also exchanged views on recent developments in Asia and the Middle East and agreed to stay in close contact amid the evolving situation.
