CWAB Holds First Formal Meeting With WCA to Discuss Players' Welfare

The newly elected committee of the Cricketers’ Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) held its first official meeting with the World Cricketers’ Association (WCA) on Wednesday, where CWAB leaders presented their plans to enhance player welfare in Bangladesh.
“This was our first formal discussion to share our vision, although we had spoken informally before,” said CWAB President Mohammad Mithun.
“They were genuinely interested in understanding our goals for Bangladeshi cricket. Overall, it was a very constructive exchange about the current state and future of our game.”
Both sides agreed to continue working together on welfare programs aimed at strengthening player representation and support systems within Bangladesh cricket.
