The National Consensus Commission will begin its second round of dialogue with political parties today.

The talks are scheduled to start at 4:30 pm at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital, with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus set to inaugurate the session, according to Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder during a press briefing on Sunday.

All political parties and stakeholders engaged in the ongoing reform process have been invited to participate in the dialogue. Azad expressed hope that the July Charter would be finalized during this round of discussions.

The Commission was established to review and finalize recommendations from five key reform bodies focusing on the constitution, judiciary, electoral system, public administration, and the Anti-Corruption Commission.

The first phase of talks, held between February 15 and May 19, included consultations with 33 political parties.
