Belgium Queen, Ex-British PM Meet CA

Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium met Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on the sidelines of an event at the UN headquarters in New York today.

Former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown also called on Prof Yunus, while IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva met the Bangladesh Chief Adviser at the UN headquarters.

Prof Yunus arrived in New York today to attend the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

An Emirates Airlines commercial flight carrying the Chief Adviser and his entourage landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, at 3:00 pm (local time) today.
