The term of the Electoral Reform Commission has been extended

The Cabinet Division announced on Thursday that the term of the Electoral Reform Commission has been extended until January 15. 

The interim government had established the commission, led by Badiul Alam Majumder, on October 3, tasking it with submitting a report within three months. The initial deadline for the report was set for Friday. 

With the extension, the commission now has additional time to finalize and present its report by January 15.
