Key Organizer of Ahinsha Gonabhutthan Taken into Custody
He serves as a senior joint secretary and a leading convener of the central committee of Ahinsha Gonabhutthan.
Mahbubul Alam Chowdhury, a key organizer of Ahinsha Gonabhutyhan (Non-violent Uprising), was arrested by the Cyber Crime Investigation Division of the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit.
The arrest took place on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 8:15 PM in Dhaka's Shantinagar area, following actionable intelligence.
According to CTTC officials, Mahbubul Alam Chowdhury, who holds the position of senior joint secretary and serves as a prominent convener of Ahinsha Gonabhutyhan’s central committee, was detained during a covert operation.
He has since been transferred to Shahbagh Police Station, where legal proceedings are currently underway.
