Anti-Discrimination Student Movement convoy targeted in attack
The attack occurred in Narayanganj while they were traveling.

A convoy carrying central coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement was attacked while traveling from Dhaka to Lama in Bandarban. The attack occurred in Narayanganj during their journey, according to a statement shared by the central convener, Hasnat Abdullah, in a verified Facebook post around 2am on Monday.
In his post, Hasnat Abdullah stated: “During our journey from Dhaka to Lama in Bandarban, the convoy of central coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement was attacked in Narayanganj. Bags and mobile phones were stolen, and several individuals sustained injuries. We call upon the government of Bangladesh to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure exemplary punishment for those responsible.”
Abdul Hannan Masud, one of the movement’s chief organizers, also confirmed the attack in a Facebook post at approximately 2:15am. He wrote: “We risk our lives every day. Those who attacked my brothers and sisters in Narayanganj will not be forgiven.”
On November 28, Hasnat Abdullah reported a second incident, claiming that his vehicle was targeted in an “attempt on his life” after surviving a road accident on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway the night before. Sarjis Alam, another member of the movement, was also in the vehicle during the first incident.
