430 BGB Platoons Providing Security At 2,857 Puja Mandaps

Some 430 Platoons Of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Are Deployed To Ensure Overall Security At 2,857 Puja Mandaps Across The Country, Including The Capital, For Peaceful And Joyful Durga Puja Celebrations.

A Total Of 24 BGB Base Camps Have Been Established To Monitor Law And Order Across The Country, Including Border Areas, According To A BGB Press Release.

The Forces Are Actively Working To Maintain Law And Order And Ensure A Safe Environment During The Festival.

Out Of The 2,857 Puja Mandaps Under BGB Jurisdiction, 1,411 Are Located In Border Areas, While 1,446 Are Outside Border Regions.

Among The Non-Border Puja Mandaps, 441 Are In The Capital City, Narayanganj, And Gazipur City Corporation Areas; 694 Are In Chittagong Metropolitan City, Raozan, And Rangunia; And 311 Are In Other Locations.

Additionally, BGB Has Strengthened Intelligence Surveillance And Special Patrols In Border Areas To Prevent Any Untoward Incidents And Ensure Peaceful Durga Puja Celebrations.

The BGB Is Coordinating With Other Law Enforcement Agencies To Facilitate Joyful And Safe Durga Puja Festivities Across The Country.
