Security Adviser Khalilur Dismisses BNP’s Allegation of Foreign Citizenship

National Security Adviser Dr Khalilur Rahman on Sunday reaffirmed his commitment to fully exercising his rights as a Bangladeshi citizen. Speaking to UNB in response to BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed’s recent claim that he holds foreign citizenship, Dr Rahman said, “I remain prepared to exercise my rights as a Bangladeshi citizen to the fullest extent.” He added that the responsibility to substantiate such an allegation lies with the person who made it, and if required, it should be addressed through the legal system.
