Quader, Nasim handed death penalty over crimes against humanity
The International Crimes Tribunal has sentenced banned Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader and Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim to death for crimes against humanity committed during the July Mass Uprising.
The verdict was delivered at around 12:15pm on Tuesday (15 September) by a three-member bench of International Crimes Tribunal-2, headed by Justice Nazrul Islam Chowdhury.
The bench also comprises Justice Md Manzurul Bashid and Justice Nur Mohammad Shahriar Kabir.
