The speech will mark his first televised address since taking office.
Officials said he is likely to highlight his government’s priorities, policy direction and roadmap for governance.
Earlier in the day, the prime minister paid homage to the martyrs of the Liberation War at the National Martyrs’ Memorial in Savar and took part in key official engagements.
His evening address is expected to emphasise national unity, economic stability and administrative reform.
