Kuwait intercepts Iranian drones as air raid sirens sound across Bahrain

Kuwait said on Thursday that it was intercepting Iranian drones, while air raid sirens sounded across Bahrain after another night of US strikes on Iranian territory.

In a statement posted on X, the Kuwaiti army said its forces were “engaging hostile drone attacks” following what it described as “nefarious Iranian aggression.” Bahrain’s Interior Ministry, meanwhile, urged citizens and residents to remain calm and move to the nearest safe location.

The Iranian army said on Thursday that it had targeted US military facilities in Jordan with drones, state media reported, following another wave of American strikes on Iran.

“In response to the enemy aggression,” the Islamic Republic of Iran’s army targeted communication systems and fuel storage facilities belonging to the US military in Jordan using suicide drones, state television IRIB reported.
