Pre-registration for Hajj 2027 is underway for non-resident Bangladeshi (NRB) citizens

Pre-registration for Hajj 2027 is now underway for Non-Resident Bangladeshi (NRB) citizens wishing to perform the pilgrimage under Bangladesh's Hajj quota. They may undertake Hajj through either government or private arrangements.

NRB citizens can complete the pre-registration process through the e-Hajj system at www.hajj.gov.bd. Applicants must provide a Bangladeshi passport, National Identity Card or birth certificate, a passport-size photograph, a mobile number with WhatsApp, and details of a bank account in Bangladesh.

A single bank account may be used for multiple members of the same family, the Press Information Department (PID) said today, quoting a press release from the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Applicants must also provide their NRB details in the e-Hajj system and upload valid proof of residence showing the name of the country where they currently live.

The Hajj Package and Guidelines 2027 will be announced shortly, according to the release.

Interested NRB citizens will then have to register by selecting one of the announced packages through the e-Hajj system. Registered pilgrims must perform Hajj in accordance with the directives issued by the Saudi government.
