CA states that justice for the Pilkhana martyrs has been long overdue
The martyrs' families have been awaiting justice for their loved ones.

Chief Adviser Prof. Muhammad Yunus stated on Tuesday that the people of Bangladesh, particularly the families of the army officers martyred in the 2009 Pilkhana massacre, have been kept uninformed for far too long. He emphasized that the families of the martyrs have been waiting for justice, and the nation has remained in the dark following the brutal killings of the brave army officers at Pilkhana. In a statement issued by the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing on National Martyred Army Day, he expressed deep sorrow, paid tribute to the fallen officers, prayed for their souls, and extended heartfelt condolences to their grieving families. He reassured that the government is making continuous efforts to ensure justice for the Pilkhana massacre. With empathy, he remained hopeful that the nation would continue to stand by the families of the martyrs and all those who have suffered. Dr. Yunus further stressed that this day should serve as a constant reminder of the sacrifices made by these courageous individuals. He urged the nation to honor their legacy by ensuring justice and preventing further loss of lives due to misrule, conspiracy, and arrogance. Concluding his statement, he stated that every individual should have the opportunity to achieve their rightful place with dignity, based on their abilities and talents.
