Bangladesh, Qatar discuss ways to deepen bilateral relations

Bangladesh and Qatar have discussed matters of mutual interest and explored avenues to further strengthen bilateral ties between Dhaka and Doha.

The discussions took place in Doha during a meeting between Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman and Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi, according to a press release.

The meeting was held as part of the Bangladeshi foreign minister’s official visit to Qatar.

Both sides exchanged views on issues of common interest and discussed ways to deepen and expand existing bilateral cooperation.

Prime Minister’s Adviser for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir was also present at the meeting.
