Demonstration held in front of Bangabhaban calling for the president's resignation

Protesters have gathered in front of Bangabhaban, calling for the resignation of President Md Shahabuddin. The demonstration began on Tuesday evening, with various groups taking positions outside the president’s official residence in Dhaka.
The demonstrators, representing different organizations, have occupied the road between Motijheel and Gulistan, blocking nearby streets at around 5:00 PM. The protesters are chanting slogans, expressing their discontent with the president and demanding his resignation.
Several groups are staging separate demonstrations under different banners, including "Inqilab Mancha," "Raktim July ’24"—a platform representing individuals injured during the student movement against discrimination—Ziaur Rahman Samajkalyan Parishad, and the Anti-Fascist Student-People Platform.
The demonstrators have expressed frustration with the president, accusing him of failing to address key issues and calling for his immediate removal from office. Despite the large gathering and road blockages, the protesters continue to maintain a presence outside Bangabhaban, while security forces are monitoring the situation to prevent any escalation.
Earlier, President Md Shahabuddin had called on the public not to create controversy over settled matters, but this has not deterred the demonstrators from intensifying their demands.
