Waqf Administrator holds meeting with PM

Bangladesh Waqf Administrator Safiz Uddin Ahmed paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Thursday morning.

The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Cabinet Division office at the Secretariat.

Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon confirmed the matter to the media.

Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Houssain (Kaikobad), MP Shamim Kaiser Lincoln, and Religious Affairs Secretary Munshi Alauddin Al Azad were also present at the meeting.

The Bangladesh Waqf Administration is responsible for the management and welfare-oriented use of waqf properties across the country.
