US announces over $3.6m in humanitarian aid for flood-hit Nepal
The United States said Saturday it would provide more than $3.6 million in humanitarian assistance to Nepal following devastating floods that have killed hundreds and left nearly 3,000 people missing.
The US State Department said the aid would include life-saving relief supplies and up to three months of emergency food assistance for as many as 10,000 flood-affected households.
