The Election Commission has deployed 655 judicial magistrates today in preparation for the upcoming polls.
The Election Commission (EC) has deployed 655 judicial magistrates across the country to address electoral offences through a summary trial system, with the aim of ensuring that the 13th National Parliamentary Election and the Referendum are conducted in a free, fair, and peaceful manner.
The magistrates began their duties today, Tuesday (10 February), and will remain in service for five days until 14 February. During this period, they will exercise the powers of first-class magistrates.
